FMS Upgrade to Version 6.144

FMS version 6.144 has now been released to all schools. This upgrade will bring the FMS version into line with the SIMS.net version and allow simultaneous upgardes of both packages in future.

New FMS Interface

All the buttons in FMS have been redesigned and enlarged. For example the tick (Save) has been replaced by a floppy disc icon. Accounts Receivable and Equipment Register buttons are unchanged.

Fortunately, the menus and the way FMS works are unchanged so you should have little or no problems adjusting to the new buttons.

New Functionality

There are some enhancements - the most significant are:

Chart of Accounts Review: Ledger Code Browse

Balance Sheet ledger codes can now be excluded so the Ledger Code Browse now yields true net income and expenditure totals.

Restricted Users

Access for users can be restricted to specific cost centres.
