Assessment: Essential Skills: Primary

This half-day course is aimed at new School Administrators and Assessment Co-ordinators who will be using the Capita Tracking Grids or who will be carrying out the Data Entry and Returns procedure for their school.

Delegates would benefit from a working knowledge of SIMS .net and an understanding of the school assessment process.

Delegates will develop skills that will enable them to use SIMS .net Assessment tools to manage the following tasks. 

·                Set up Assessment Manager permissions.

·                Viewing existing Marksheets already on the Sims system.

·                Understanding Aspects and how to create Grade Aspects, Age Aspects, Comment Aspects, Marks-integer and Marks Decimal Aspects.

·                The use of Result Sets.

·                Templates.

·                Creating Templates with Formulae.

·                Using Marksheets.
